MARTA at the AIRPORT to get to the NABC TOURNAMENT
Public transportation from Atlanta International Airport is provided by an organization titled Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority or MARTA. Trains run from the station inside the airport terminal to all parts of Atlanta including downtown.
The MARTA station is located inside the domestic airline section of the airport. If you arrive on an international flight at the new international terminal (Concourse F) you must take a shuttle bus located outside the international terminal to the domestic terminal in order to access the MARTA station. Domestic and international flights which arrive elsewhere (Concourse T and Concourses A through E) must take the plane train (subway system) to the main domestic building to reach the MARTA station.
All riders must have an electronic ticket (Breeze Card) to access the bus or train. Breeze fares can be purchased at a Breeze Vending Machine located in all 38 rail stations using cash or credit cards. Cost is $2.50 per trip and daily passes starting at $7.00 may be purchased for one or more days.
The ride from the airport to the tournament site (Hyatt Regency) takes about 20 minutes. Get off the train at the Peachtree Center Station (N1). Take an escalator or elevator to the mall level or the street level. Directions to the Hyatt are posted in the mall and you can stay inside using an elevated passage over the cross street. If you go outside to the main street (Peachtree Street), the hotel is one block North at 265 Peachtree Street.
